Ask: Building Consent Culture – 2017
From Publisher, On Gumroad, On Amazon

I’m proud to be a part of this collection of poetry and prose from over 30 trans women and other male assigned transgender writers. My contribution is a full on rant at my best form. Decrying stalking and online harassment of trans women, I tear apart the petty excuses and examine the hypocrisy and professed motivation anti-trans bigots put forward to justify wildly inappropriate behavior. This is been one of my favorite pieces to perform at live readings, and always gets a strong crowd reaction.

Ask: Building Consent Culture – 2017
From PublisherOn GoodreadsOn Amazon

This anthology builds out what it means to engage with consent in all aspects of life. My contribution is an essay exploring how rules addressing sexual harassment apply – or don’t – sex industry workplaces and specifically porn. When you can’t rely on the standard rules about sexual harassment because your job involves having sex with your co-workers or even your boss, how do we create new rules that acknowledge that sexual harassment can still exist but are not inherent to the work.

Book Cover: Super Power Baby Shower

Super Power Baby Shower – 2017
From PublisherOn Goodreads

My second children’s book, co-written with my partner Fay Onyx. A trio of super heroes tell the story of when they were about to become co-parents to their young child. An extensive menagerie of interesting characters – including favorites like Granny Awesome – join together for a baby shower that quickly becomes a mission to help an indigenous run wolf sanctuary track down their lost wolves.

Book Cover: Nerve Endings

Nerve Endings: The New Trans Erotic – 2017
From PublisherOn GoodreadsOn Amazon

This book is the culmination of an idea I’ve been working on for a good decade. The emphasis is on the *new* erotic. This isn’t what you’d expect from your average erotica anthology – well, it has that too, but also a lot more. Taking a holistic perspective on experiences of relationships and sexuality for trans people, this massive collection of 30 stories has something for everyone. Explorations of trauma and recovery, powerful and supportive relationships, as well as unhealthy ones, some really hot sex, speculative fiction, and more.

Coming Out Like A Porn Star – 2015
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

This anthology is full of porn performers talking about their experiences managing their privacy and when to come out about being a porn performer. In it, I share my story about telling my second wave anti-porn lesbian feminist moms about my own award winning work in feminist porn.

A Princess of Great Daring – 2015
From Publisher, On Goodreads

My first children’s book hearkens back to the feminist children’s books I grew up on.  Too often I see trans focused children’s books with the powerful but simple message “it’s okay to be trans” or even just “it’s okay to wear a dress.” In my story, our young trans girl decides to be not just a princess, but one of great daring who can run and climb trees while keeping up with each of her friends as they focus on strength, building friendship, and sharpening their cunning. And of course, there’s a dragon and adventure and all that.

Book Cover: Girl Sex 101

Girl Sex 101 – 2015
From Publisher, On GoodreadsOn Amazon

I am proud to be a part of this comprehensive sex guide for queer women – and anyone who may have sex with a queer woman. I wrote four sections, called “Tobi’s Trans-Missions.” With chapters alternating between the story of one woman and her ex on a road trip down the 101 and instructional sections covering the concepts they run into, this book talks about how to flirt, details of consent, negotiating sex around disability, and is honestly *the* most trans-inclusive sex guide I’ve ever seen. Read my longer review on my tumblr.

Trans Bodies, Trans Selves – 2014
From Publisher, On GoodreadsOn Amazon

This massive book is a comprehensive resource guide for the trans community. With experts from different areas each taking on a chapter, I was excited to co-write the sexuality chapter with my colleague Dean Scarborough. With other chapters on family, health and medical care, law, and much more, I can say that my chapter is one of the most comprehensive downloads of all the tidbits of trans sexual health I’ve picked up over the years. If what you’re looking for is a sex guide I might recommend Girl Sex 101 instead, but if you’re looking for trans resources in general with sexuality being a part of it, then you’d be hard pressed to find something better than this.

The Feminist Porn Book: The Politics of Producing Pleasure – 2014
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

This massive anthology includes my essay “Where the Trans Women Aren’t: The Slow Inclusion of Trans Women in Feminist and Queer Porn.” It documents the queer/trans/feminist porn around 2007-2013 and many of my specific concerns, goals, and actions shifting our small corner of the industry.

Beyond The Binary: Genderqueer and Sexually Fluid Speculative Fiction – 2012
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

The third anthology to include my short story, “Self-Reflection,” this collection is less erotic and more comprehensive fiction.

Take Me There: Trans and Genderqueer Erotica – 2011
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

I was really glad to have my story, “Self-Reflection,” re-printed in this anthology. Packed full of prominent names in trans community with stories that get a little more deeper than average, this book was definitely an inspiration for me to do much of the same with my own special focus that became Nerve Endings.

Best Lesbian Erotica 2010 – 2010
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

The first place my story, “Self-Reflection” was published. Sex with a doppleganger was a theme in this book. With my story about having sex with a time traveling future version of yourself, and another story about an artist who’s protege who was always mistaken for her, and more. It’s classic Best Lesbian Erotica.

And Baby Makes More: Known Donors, Queer Parents, and Our Unexpected Families – 2009
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

Addressing my experience growing up with a known sperm donor who was occasionally a part of my life, my contribution to this anthology addresses most of the questions I’ve been asked about that experience throughout my whole life, as well as the complicated aspects of my decision to become a sperm donor as a trans woman.

Who’s Your Daddy?: And Other Writings on Queer Parenting – 2009
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

My contribution to this anthology is an essay on trans-racial parenting informed from my experience of growing up with white parents who used a PoC donor. Bringing in a lot of other thoughts and perspectives around trans-racial adoption, this is one of my more academic essays I’ve ever had published.

More Five Minute Erotica: 35 Tales of Sex and Seduction – 2007
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

It’s wild to go back and re-read my story in this anthology. I was trying to do something a little bit outside the box while still being geared for a generic (and mostly straight) audience. The short word limit was definitely a constraint but an excellent opportunity to challenge and grow my writing ability.

Getting Bi: Voices of Bisexuals Around The World – 2005
On GoodreadsOn Amazon

The first print book I was published in. It was a great experience to be included in something like this. In the decade or more it’s been since here, my views on sexual identity have shifted a bit, but what I wrote for this anthology is definitely a major part of how I’ve thought of and approached LGBTQ community throughout much of my activism.
